Pepper steak is another quick and easy one pan meal option for busy weeknights, family dinners, or meal preps. The sweet and tangy sauce is made with soy sauce and honey, a healthy and guilt free alternative to other sugar packed sauces.

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1green bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1lb steak thinly sliced *top sirloin, flank or skirt steak are great options for a stir-fry*
- 2tbsp. minced garlic
- 1tsp. minced ginger
- Redmond Real salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1tbsp. honey
- 1 ½ tbsp. flour
- ¼ cup water
Instructions:
- Add oil to a skillet and bring to medium heat,
- Once oil is hot, add peppers and cook until tender, about 5 minutes, once tender remove and place on a plate.
- Next, season steak generously on both sides with salt and pepper, increase heat cook steak until brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes a side.
- Add garlic and ginger and cook for another minute until fragrant,
- Add your peppers back to the pan and mix to combine.
- Next, in a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey, ¼ cup of water and flour.
- Pour mixture into pan, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer covered for 10 minutes
- Can be served with rice, potatoes or on its own.
