Crockpot Chicken Alfredo
This delicious chicken alfredo recipe is an easy-to-make dinner option for any time of the year. Tip for easy cooking: cook chicken breast in advance to reduce your total cooking time.

Servings: Aprox. 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1lb skinless chicken breast, about 2 large chicken breast
- 4 chicken sausages
- 2 cups grated parmesan cheese
- 1tbsp garlic powder
- 4tbsp butter
- 32ozs heavy cream
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 4 cups chicken broth home made
- 1 box penne pasta
- 1tbsp Kirkland olive oil
- Black pepper to taste
- Redmond Real salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat skillet to medium high heat.
- Place chicken in a skillet with the olive oil, season with the garlic powder, salt and black pepper and cook until browned, about 4 minutes.
- When browned, flip chicken over and season the other side. Cook for an additional 4 minutes until browned on the second side.
- when done, place it in the crockpot.
- Cut chicken sausages into 1″ cubes and place into the crockpot,
- Add the next ingredients into crockpot, in the following order: Heavy cream, chicken broth,(Stay tuned for our home made broth recipe)butter, fresh garlic, creole seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Set crockpot to high and cook for 2 1/2 hours.
- After 2 1/2 hours, remove chicken and cut into 1” pieces, or to your preference and set aside.
- Add the hot water and the pasta and stir well.
- Cover pot and cook on high for another 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, add back the chicken and add the cheese, in small portions at a time and stir well until cheese is incorporated.
- Let sit for 15 minutes, then serve.
